Competition Analysis Tool (New) – Video Transcript Below
Hello it’s Neil Ball, your online marketing coach from www.workwithneilball.com.
I am going to demonstrate to you a great new keyword research tool that I have just come across. Which is actually a plug in for Google Chrome which provides information about websites. Where they are getting the traffic from and how much traffic they are getting.
It really draws together a number of different tools and information that is available out there on a number of different tools onto an easy to click – one press of a button – application.
Which is going to save a huge amount of time, if you just want to find out very quickly what is happening on a particular website that you may be looking at at any time.
So, this tool is really ideal for doing any type of PPC’s, CPA, SEO Banner advertising, that kind of thing.
I will just demonstrate this to you now, as you can see, I am in Google Chrome, I am actually on my Empower Network Blog, if you look up to the right here, you will see I have got this little f here, and if I click that, then what it does is, it gives me data on the empower blog that I am looking at right now. So, you have got data from Compete here, showing you various daily stats, of traffic that is going to the website. Underneath that is data from Alexa, so you can see the Alexa Traffic Rank and the variation on a daily basis on a period of time, I am not quite sure what period of time, it looks like it is getting on for 12 months.
Below that there is Quantcast data, so there is a Quantcast graph of traffic to the website. They are all key things you could well use when you are doing keyword research. Then rather than having to go to three different sites for information, one click of a button and it is there ready for you.
Below that, it shows you what affiliate networks it is promoting. I have got promotions regarding this. You have also got the number of pages that are ranked in Google. So 2.9 million there. You have then got information from this website iSpionage, I am not quite sure how you pronounce that. Which shows the various key words that it is ranking for. You have then got information from keyword spy, some more information from iSpionage. And more information from them, and information from adbeat. Which is really more competition intelligence data. So, it shows you what adverts have been placed. You have then got mixed rank, that is quite a useful site. Which is what runs where, which is more advertiser intelligence. So, you have got some really, really great stuff here. Which is really useful. There are not any demographics available at this moment in time.
You have then got the latest twitter mentions. Which fill up there. You have then got ‘Who is’ data, you have got a reverse IP data. You have got competitors. So a fantastic amount of information. On top of that, what you are also able to do with this tool is, you can also set it up so that it provides you with alerts you, if you are working on a particular niche.
What you can then do is, you can set it up so that it knows what website you need to keep an eye on. And then it will actually send you an email, letting you know if there is any change, if anything significant happens on a website, or a competitors websites that you could look at. This plug in will do that, so a great tool, so you get a hold of this tool.
